I'm Ceyda, a maritime professional, photographer, and passionate sailor.
After more than a decade working across the yachting industry, from ship agencies to yacht maintenance, from marina management to life aboard, I launched Sealikes Socials to help small and medium-sized marine businesses thrive online — with clients based in the Netherlands and beyond.
I understand your world because I’ve lived it — in work boots on the dock, behind a camera on the yard, and barefoot on deck during four full years of liveaboard life.
All About Me
I studied Maritime Business and Administration and spent over ten years working across the yachting industry — from ship agencies and charter companies to marinas and yacht service providers.
Along the way, we owned two sailboats: the first a classic wooden yacht we refitted with our own hands, the second a 42-foot yacht that became our floating home for four incredible years. I also wrote and published a book about that experience, sharing what life at sea taught me.
As a diver, sailor, and content creator, I’ve combined this deep connection to the sea with my passion for visual storytelling. For seven years I worked professionally as a photographer and short film maker, and later expanded into social media strategy and content creation.
That mix of maritime expertise and creative skills is what inspired me to launch Sealikes Socials — a studio dedicated to helping yachting businesses tell their story online through authentic photos, videos, and content.
